As the Spring Festival approaches, the flower market in Dingtao district, Heze city in Shandong province has entered its peak season. People are strolling through the sea of flowers, carefully selecting their favorite blooms.

Meanwhile, workers are busy tending to, selling, and transporting the flowers, filling the air with a strong flowery scent accompanied by a joyous festive atmosphere.

Many of the flower bases in Dingtao district have an array of potted flowers in a variety of shapes, attracting many visitors.

The number of visitors to the flower base has notably increased recently, with people buying flowers in preparation for the upcoming Spring Festival. Celebratory and vibrant flower varieties such as orchids, azaleas, and camellias have been especially popular of late.

Many merchants have also adorned various green plants with red lanterns and auspicious "Fu" characters in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year.

The period between New Year's Day and Spring Festival is the hottest season for flower sales, and many flower markets and sales centers have made preparations to better meet the demands of customers during the holiday season. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
