Shandong's Xiajin explores new path to prosperity

Rows of production equipment at Shandong-based Fada Flour Group Co Ltd have been arranged in an orderly manner, realizing internet-based intelligent digital management and large-scale production.

Wheat passes through a vibrating screen, stone remover, threshing machine, color sorter, milling machine and other machines for processes such as removing impurities, separation, and grinding to become flour. Finally, a mechanical arm supports the bag and the machine fills and completes the packaging.

Fada Flour's processing industrial base was selected as one of Shandong's specialty advantage food industry agglomeration areas this year.

Others include Xiajin's specialty advantage food industry cluster for the deep processing of agricultural and sideline products, Shandong Qianxihe Foods Co Ltd's specialty advantage food industry base for fresh and chilled pork, and Xiajin's Xiangzhaozhuang town specialty advantage food industry powerhouse for pastries.

In recent years, Xiajin has adhered to the development philosophy of "industry leadership, project-driven and cluster development," pursuing innovation, promoting development and continuously optimizing the business environment.

To create an industrial cluster, Xiajin has implemented the Smart Kitchen Wisdom Port project in the county's agricultural and sideline product deep processing industrial park, forming an industrial chain with surrounding enterprises such as Fada Flour and Qianxihe.

The deep processing of agricultural and sideline products is a traditional advantageous industry in Xiajin, and digitization, industrialization and clustering will further integrate industrial chain resources, driving the industry's  high-end development. (Edited by Cai Liting)
