​Winter's beauty unveiled: Hui-style homes amidst nature

In Xiajin county's Ping'anhu community, snowfall has created a picturesque, frosted landscape. Two-story homes with courtyards are merged with the white fields. Nearby, wild ducks can be seen waddling on the partly frozen lake.

The community is a key part of Xiajin's rural vitalization. It has 2,194 quaint Hui-style homes that cost 740 million yuan ($103.55 million) to build. This initiative has not only preserved traditional architecture but also fosterd a blend of modern agriculture, tourism, and rural living.
