Garbage sorting helps develop civilized villages

Domestic waste sorting has improved the environment and sanitary conditions in Laiwu district, Jinan, East China's Shandong province, injecting vitality into rural vitalization.

Since the application of domestic waste sorting, local communities and villages have regarded it as an important way to improve the environment and governance.
Foyang village in Hezhuang town was the first to purchase new energy-driven garbage pickup trucks. Garbage is thrown out by locals at the designated time and collected and transported all together, realizing daily disposal of the garbage produced on that day.

Authorities of Laiwu district have also organized waste sorting-themed activities to gradually make the practice more popular.
The district is inspecting domestic waste sorting efforts around the area and will punish those with illegal behaviors in the discarding, collection, transportation, and disposal of waste to yield efficient results. (Edited by Gong Jun)
