Shandong lake welcomes flock of migratory birds

As the winter advances, it is a great time of year to enjoy watching a group of migratory birds at Dongping Lake in Dongping county, Tai'an city, East China's Shandong province.

With a water area of 208 square kilometers, the lake is regarded as a national AAAA level scenic spot and a hub of the East Line of the South-to-North Water Diversion project.

In recent years, the water ecological environment of Dongping Lake and its surrounding areas has been continuously improved, making it a sound habitat for huge numbers of birds. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
