Shandong county inherits tofu-making skills

Dongyang Guantun village in Wucheng county, located in Dezhou city in East China's Shandong province, is a well-known "tofu village" where every household can make tofu. At present, the village is home to eight modern tofu workshops on a large scale.

The unique color, aroma and flavor of tofu made in Dongyang Guantun village have formed a unique tofu brand in Wucheng county.

In 2022, the technique of making thousand-layer tofu in Dongyang Guantun village was selected as a municipal intangible cultural heritage item. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
