Shandong city's Tangtou Hot Spring tourism season kicks off

The hot springs tourism season kicked off recently at the Tangtou Hot Spring Tourism Resort in the Hedong district of Linyi city – located in East China's Shandong province.

Having launched on Nov 24 and running through to Dec 31, the event is offering an extravaganza – featuring activities such as hot springs relaxations, scenic explorations, lively stage performances and delightful dining experiences.

This year has seen the Tangtou Hot Spring Tourism Resort committed to realizing its goal of becoming a national-level tourist destination.

Focused on three main theme products – hot springs, health spas and beauty treatments and waterside vacations – the resort has completed 10 tourism upgrades so far this year. Most notable additions include the camping ground, the open-air hot springs and the nighttime banquet facility on the Tanghe River.

Moreover, aesthetic and informative venues like lakeside libraries and museums have been established, transforming the resort into a hot springs haven combining culture and tourism. (Edited by Zhou Yunlai)
