Shandong county improves realty services for residents
Lanling county in Linyi city of East China's Shandong province has been promoting the full coverage of realty management in residential quarters to help locals resolve their daily problems.
The county is now promoting the working mechanism of "collecting demands from residents through WeChat groups and then resolving their demands".
Together with the local judicial bureau, the county has also established a Property Dispute Mediation Center, which has mediated 47 disputes in property management.
This year, Lanling county has been encouraging the locally based and State-owned Chengfa Group to establish a public welfare property company to take over all unmanned residential areas in the region.
"Previously, the environment in Gongdian Beishan residential quarter was not that great and most of the residents living here are middle-aged and elderly people," said Ms Huang, a local resident, adding that after the county provided property management services, dedicated cleaning personnel, installed surveillance cameras, access control and other equipment can be seen now, making her feel a greater sense of security.
Lanling county has invested 17 million yuan ($2.39 million) for the renovation and handover work of water supply facilities in the first batch of 30 residential areas. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
