Expats share experiences in Shandong's county
An activity called "talks about Wucheng on a warm winter's day" was held on Dec 9 in Wucheng county – located in Dezhou city, in East China's Shandong province – and four expats were thrilled to participate.
One of them was Sreekumar Methil from India, who is general manager of Synthite China – the local arm of Synthite Industries Pvt Ltd, one of the largest producers of spice extracts, spice powders and essential oils in the world.
He talked about his experiences in Wucheng, and praised the opportunities brought about by the Belt and Road initiative and the changes in the economic development of Wucheng.
Moreover, expats shared their thoughts and feelings about the unique culture of the county.
During the event, the four expats also received gifts with local characteristics.
"I am very happy to be here and the hospitality of the Wucheng people is unforgettable for me," said Prince, a foreign friend from India. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
