Tea village adopts new look after winter snow

The first snowfall of the winter graced Taolin town in Zhucheng city, Shandong province. Plains and forests were covered in a silvery white blanket, instantly transforming the tea village into a winter wonderland.
In recent years, Taolin town has been developing Zhucheng Green Tea according to local conditions. The area of tea cultivation has reached about 2,767 hectares. A rural vitalization demonstration area integrating tea and tourism and a 1,067-hectare Zhucheng green tea modern agricultural industrial park have been built.
Twelve tea-leaf shareholding cooperatives and one town-level shareholding joint cooperative have also been established, covering the whole industrial chain of Zhucheng Green Tea planting, processing, and sale and increasing the brand influence and reputation of Zhucheng Green Tea.

By leveraging the beautiful ecological tea gardens, Taolin town has developed research-oriented and experiential tea culture tourism. Innovative models have been implemented, as well as initiatives to create the Wenchang river valley ecological tea garden scenic area, green tea culture square, and other tea-tourism integration projects.
With the assistance of cultural and tourist attractions, the town has opened its doors to visitors, and become home to a diverse array of businesses. By seamlessly integrating tea tasting with tea planting and appreciation, the town has further facilitated the development of tea culture and tourism integration. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
