Shandong district cultivates high-tech hub

Weicheng district in Weifang, Shandong province has been improving its talent landscape and optimizing mechanisms to retain talent. 

Building a comprehensive policy framework, the district focuses on sharpening a competitive edge in the region. It aims to establish a laser semiconductor industrial park and an advanced optoelectronic chip research institute. 

These efforts have borne fruit, leading to the establishment of innovative enterprises like Luou Zhizao and Furui Optics.
