Qihe county in Dezhou, East China's Shandong province, has been a national role model in promoting science for the past two years.
The county has continued its science promotion efforts by carrying out projects themed on infrastructure and digitalization.
The Qihe Fire Fighting Science Museum and Qihe Yellow River Bridge Exhibition Hall have been further improved and various cultural facilities, including libraries, have shared information about popular science.
Qihe is currently home to five studios of popular science experts, nine popular science education bases at the provincial or municipal levels, 11 popular science halls in communities or schools, and more than 200 galleries themed on popular science in rural areas.
The county has also set up a lecturer's team consisting of over 40 experts to give lectures on popular science. (Edited by Gong Jun)
