Heze district explores business-friendly ecosystem

With the aim of boosting top-quality development and support enterprises, the district has been working on optimizing the business environment and improving the levels of services provided to businesses.

The efforts to streamline approvals procedures, the commercial ecosystem and services in general have sparked some really positive feedback from the public.

One resident, Liu Jie, expressed surprise and praised the quick and efficient services that are being provided by staff at the Luxi New District Government Services Hall.

With the aim of creating a first-class government environment and enhancing customer satisfaction, the district has simplified the approvals process, reduced the number of links and decreased the approvals time by some 80 percent.

Additionally, Luxi New District has formed a consortium with other provincial new areas to pave the way for cross-domain office operations and to streamline government services.

Tax benefits have also played a significant role in encouraging innovation and development.

A spokesperson from resident company Londerful New Material (Heze) Co Ltd noted that the proactive tax incentives provided by Luxi New District's tax department had allowed the group to invest more in research and development.

The spokesperson added that with over 8.7 million yuan ($1.22 million) in R&D expenses deducted from its annual taxes, the company could now focus on developing high-end products and accelerating technological upgrades. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
