Heze district prioritizes needs of residents
The Yuecheng Street in the Luxi New District of Heze city – located in East China's Shandong province – is said to have experienced a great transformation recently, bringing in color and vibrancy to the area.
The precinct has been festooned with wall murals, in an initiative that has improved the look of the streetscape and received some really positive feedback from residents.

The move is part of a broader effort in Luxi New District to address practical issues and boost the quality of living.
In recent years, the focus has been on resolving pressing problems and delivering tangible benefits to residents.
The Danyang Street property office, for example, underscored this commitment by quickly responding to a wheelchair-bound resident's request for assistance.
As a result, the ramp in front of his home was widened, improving accessibility.
Other projects in Luxi New District have also significantly improved living conditions. In Lyuling town, efforts include the construction of roads, resolving irrigation and sewage management issues and repairing water pipelines.
These initiatives aim to enhance the well-being of the community by providing practical solutions.
Moving forwards, plans are for the Luxi New District to remain dedicated to prioritizing the needs of its residents and ensuring practical changes that positively impact the community. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
