Laishan district promotes digital transformation of communities
Laishan district in Yantai has been making significant strides in promoting the digital transformation of its communities. All seven blocks and 138 villages in the district have established comprehensive primary-level service account application platforms that have received nearly 100 million data calls.
To facilitate comprehensive primary-level services, Laishan district has developed a mobile application that caters to both staff members and residents. The application is divided into two versions that have different modules such as democratic discussions, harmonious neighborhoods, community activities, and community management.
Residents can now easily access services like property repairs, feedback submission, and second-hand transactions through the mobile app. Community workers, on the other hand, can utilize the desktop version to post notifications, receive feedback, and ensure transparency in community affairs.

In addition, the mobile application for comprehensive primary-level services ensures the timely delivery of community notifications and prompt reporting of residents' concerns, and encourages collective participation in the building of a harmonious community. It also effectively addresses the challenges faced in the promotion of primary-level initiatives.
Laishan district has also been taking steps to enhance primary-level governance efficiency by establishing a "1 database, 1 governance platform, N scenarios" model for its smart community service system. By utilizing AI intelligent analysis algorithms, the Internet of Things, and other technologies, local authorities have implemented intelligent community governance services like smart security, smart canteens, and smart elderly care.
