Despite the cold weather, the entrepreneurial workshop in Maji village, Maji town, Dingtao district of Heze city in Shandong province, is in full swing.
Through a one-stop process of combination assembly, box sealing scanning, and shipping, exquisite shoe-changing stools, dining chairs, small sofas, and other "internet celebrity products" have been distributed.
The workshop primarily produces wooden and fabric home products, sold to various parts of the country through e-commerce, bringing annual turnover to more than 5 million yuan ($700,000). At total capacity, it can employ 50 people.
"After seeing the supporting policies, I considered returning home to start a business. With the government's support, my workshop has been continuously expanded, and the business has become more and more prosperous. Now, we can deliver more than 1,000 orders a day." said Li Xin, the person in charge of the workshop.
The Maji town has introduced a series of support policies for returning migrant workers, integrated old factories, transferred dilapidated courtyards, and revitalized 186 places such as abandoned lands. It has introduced 42 projects and built 37 entrepreneurship workshops. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
