The Inspection and Testing Center of Dong'e county, Liaocheng, Shandong province, recently achieved the highest grade in the national quality examination for crop seed quality inspection capability, becoming the only county-level inspection and testing institution in the province to achieve an A-grade result.
The center had in late 2020 obtained the qualification for crop seed testing, thus filling the domestic gap in this field. The center has continued to improve its testing capabilities and inspection levels through internal assessments, experimental comparisons, systematic training, and expert guidance.
A national-level service platform, the center has been strengthening policy publicity and services while continuously improving inspection and testing capabilities, allowing technology, talent, and policies to enter enterprises and clusters to help the development of SMEs.
Recently, to address the challenges related to the testing of agricultural products at Dong'e county's cold chain logistics industrial park, the center launched a work group to provide comprehensive training and testing services.
The center has also expanded its testing capabilities and is now the first governmental inspection and testing institution in China to obtain a CMA qualification for the "characteristic peptide" project. The center has to date completed more than 2,000 inspections and tests for donkey-hide gelatin products, agricultural and sideline products, crop seeds, and other projects. (Edited by Yang Yi)
