From small tofu to big brand

Stepping into the Tengxin tofu processing workshop in Tianlou village, Nanwangdian town, Dingtao district of Heze city in Shandong province, one is greeted by a sweet smell of soybeans.
The process of picking beans, soaking, grinding, boiling, and curdling transforms the tiny soybeans into tender and delicious tofu.
The workshop currently uses 500 kilograms of soybeans that produces 500 kg of tofu and 300 kg of tofu skin daily. The products, which are mainly supplied to farmers' wholesale markets and schools, are expected to generate more than 20 million yuan ($2.8 million) annually. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
