Thanks to Zhucheng's favorable natural conditions, farmers here can grow tea of exceptional quality, and this has made the city the major tea production base with the highest latitude in China.

Zhucheng tea, which is renowned for its rich taste and strong fragrance, has won the hearts of many consumers. As such, the tea industry is gradually becoming one of Zhucheng's most distinctive industries.

Zhucheng city has in recent years seen the formation of tea unions that have taken measures to improve the quality of tea leaves and branding efforts. These efforts have in turn help Zhucheng tea to be sold in international markets as well. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
