10 companies in Laishan district receive city-level doubling rewards

Ten companies in Laishan district, Yantai were recently awarded city-level doubling rewards for their significant advancements. 

Laishan district has added three city-level nurturing and doubling companies this year, bringing the total to 17.

Henghui Group, one of the companies that received the rewards, has implemented intelligent upgrading and transformations on its production lines this year, resulting in a year-on-year output growth of over 20 percent.

"We will make good use of the rewards to further expand production and speed up development while improving quality and efficiency," said Jiang Chuanwen, deputy general manager of the Equipment Manufacturing and Sales Division at Henghui Group.

The Laishan Economic Development Zone is the main hub of the district's industrial economy, housing over 80 percent of the district's industrial enterprises above a designated size.

The development zone has been implementing the enterprise doubling plan and striving to achieve its annual goals through various measures, including implementing a key enterprise guarantee system for high-tech and high-potential enterprises and implementing a subcontracting liaison system for key construction projects.

"Moving forward, the park will remain determined and work achieve its annual goals, conclude the precise investment promotion battle, strengthen and improve leading industries, attract advantageous assets, build high-quality platforms, and facilitate foreign investment channels, to ensure stronger economic growth," said Wang Jing, deputy director of the Laishan Economic Development Zone Management Committee.
