Journey to Zhuangzi's birthplace along Yellow River
Recent years have witnessed tourists flocking to Zhuangzhai village – located in Dongming county, administered by Heze city in East China's Shandong province.
They're simply captivated by its rich cultural history and breathtaking views of the Yellow River. As the mighty waterway makes its way through Shandong, Dongming stands out as the first place it flows through.
The town is known as the birthplace of Zhuangzi, the master philosopher who lived around the fourth and third centuries BC. He is said to have retired and finally been laid to rest in this revered place.
