Tajik artists study top Shandong acrobats

A group of artists from Tajikistan's Lise performing arts company visited Ningjin county on Nov 5 – in Dezhou city, East China's Shandong province – to learn about the local acrobatic culture and seek guidance from the Baichuang International Circus Company.
The Tajik guests were introduced to Ningjin acrobatics, a national intangible cultural heritage item and they watched some of its top moves.
They also exchanged views about skills and life in the circus.

The visitors praised the exquisite performance of Ningjin acrobats and said they would apply some of their movements in future shows.
Ningjin acrobatics, which dates back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), is famous for its unique style, diverse forms and high degree of difficulty. It has won many awards both at home and abroad and has been staged in many countries and regions. (Edited by Fan Yuanyuan)
