A bald cypress, or swamp cypress forest – situated in Linqu county, in East China's Shandong province – has turned into a natural wonder as winter approaches.

The bald cypress, also known as the water fir, is a deciduous conifer that grows in wetlands and riverbanks.

Its leaves change from green to deep red in autumn, creating a striking contrast with its reddish-brown trunks. The trees stand out against the blue sky and white clouds, forming stunning and ethereal scenery.
