Shandong group shines at Macao trade, investment fair

Linyi Wonderful Freeze-Dried Food Co Ltd, a subsidiary of the Wonderful Food group – located in the Hedong district of Linyi city in East China's Shandong province – emerged as a top exhibitor at the 28th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair held on Oct 17-20.
The company said the event marked a turning point for its presence in the Macao market. It's strategy has been to employ a wide-ranging approach – including exhibitions, conferences, forums, specialized matchmaking sessions and promotional exchange meeting – to attract business.
At the fair it showed a diverse range of air-dried and freeze-dried fruit and vegetables. They're said to set an industry benchmark, representing the company's efforts to utilize smart factories, intelligent production and advanced logistics.

Currently, the company is working on an ambitious plan to boost its annual processing capacity with a plant that will produce 15,000 tons of freeze-dried products. Once complete, it's expected to be the country's largest freeze-dried product production base, with a projected annual output worth more than 2 billion yuan ($276.13 million).
The venture has been recognized as a major project at both the provincial and city levels, with a substantial total investment of 630 million yuan.
Spanning 208 mu (13.87 hectares), the plant encompasses critical components such as a research and development center, testing center, an intelligent warehouse and other support facilities. (Edited by Zhou Yunlai)
