Key projects spur development in Heze district
The Luxi New District of Heze city – located in East China's Shandong province – has prioritized several key projects to drive its economic growth forwards.
This year, the district has signed up 98 projects worth over 100 million yuan ($13.78 million), with the new projects totaling 59.6 billion yuan in investment.
In a new plant at Liaoweiyuan Healthcare Industrial Park, the city's first anti-cancer drug production line has been running at full capacity.

Zeng Fanhong, general manager of Liaoweiyuan Pharmaceutical Sales Company, said the group had developed a dozen kinds of drugs by building the anti-cancer drug production platform and had introduced a team of experts from Fortune 500 companies to conduct research and turn out innovative drugs.
Elsewhere, the Dali Guangdian High-End Manufacturing Industrial Park in the district focuses on such sectors as intelligent equipment, new materials and new energy vehicles.
The park promotes technological innovation and industrial upgrading – creating a great environment for the development of advanced manufacturing industries.
With the implementation of the key projects, the district is expected to further boost its economic competitiveness and become an important center for investment and development in the region. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
