More than 1,400 staff run in Shandong marathon, events
The much-anticipated Yanggu Marathon was held on Oct 28 in Yanggu county, in East China's Shandong province.
The event – including a half-marathon and a mini run – attracted the participation of more than 1,400 employees from all walks of life in the county.

Some 700 volunteers – as well as public security officers, traffic police, medical workers, the Blue Sky Rescue Team and emergency rescue personnel – stood by to ensure the safety of all participants and the success of the event.
As the course was designed along Lanhai Lake, a local tourist attraction in Yanggu, the runners and visitors were able to take in the picturesque autumn scenery.
Meanwhile, the occasion was live-streamed online through short-video sharing platform Douyin, attracting an audience of around 20,000.
The runners all agreed that they would bring their fighting and teamwork spirit to their work and daily lives and contribute to the vigorous growth of Yanggu through good physical and mental health.
