Over 100 Shandong artworks go on display in Beijing

Art fans thronged to The New Era, New Jining: Exhibition of Calligraphy, Painting and Seal Cutting by Renowned Artists when it kicked off on Nov 12 at the Dongyi Art Gallery – located in North China's Beijing – with the show set to run to Nov 16.

The exhibition showcases over 110 works from more than 100 artists hailing from Jining city in East China's Shandong province.

The diverse selection uses Shi Ci Ge Fu – or verses, ditties, odes and songs in English – as well as other mediums to highlight Jining's economic, social and cultural achievements in recent years.
