As autumn fades into winter, the persimmons in Linqu county, Weifang, East China's Shandong province, are now ripe and ready to be harvested. The county is home to the Yinshi Industrial Park in Wujing town, where thousands of persimmon trees cover the hillsides.

The park is not only a tourist attraction, but also a source of income and pride for the locals. The villagers of Yinshi have been cultivating and processing persimmons and persimmon cakes for over a millennium, earning them the reputation of being the "Hometown of Persimmon Cakes". The park is now the largest persimmon drying base in China, according to the local government.
