Raft of exhibitions boost Linyi city's internationalization
A slew of international exhibitions were held in October in the Lanshan district of Linyi city – located in East China's Shandong province – helping to drive forward the development of regional commercial logistics.
This year Lanshan district has prioritized its trade and logistics sectors, focusing on building a high-energy logistics hub and leading commercial area with an international influence.
Among the events held in October were a cross-border e-commerce expo, an international procurement conference for small commodities, and an international conference on trade and logistics development.
During the 2023 Autumn Small Commodity Expo on Oct 18-20, an Indian businessman said that the event was a large-scale and diverse exhibition, building a bridge for cooperation between the supply and demand sides.
From January to September, 73 exhibitions were held in succession in Lanshan district, with a cumulative exhibition area of about 780,000 square meters and a combined exhibition transaction volume of 17 billion yuan ($2.34 billion).
Moreover, the district has also organized for local enterprises to expand their customer base by attending top exhibition platforms such as the China International Import Expo and the China Import and Export Fair. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
