Based in Dabu town in Yanggu county, Maiso Transmission Technology is a leading non-liner engine and equipment transmissions supplier in China.

Since its establishment, it has brought in automated production lines, sharpening its quality control of products.

At the same time, the company has integrated independent research and development with introduction of new products, cooperated with research institutes and accelerated the transformation of high-tech innovation achievements – hoping to improve its core competitiveness and high-quality growth, said company manager Guo Zongliang.

At present, the company produces 40 million meters of high-end flexible shafts each year. The products are sold throughout the country and exported to more than 20 countries and regions – such as the United States, the European Union, Japan and South Korea.

The group plans to invest more on independent research and development of high-end flexible shafts. The aim is to further extend and strengthen the industrial supply chain, increase its market share and boost itself as a top brand in the high-end flexible shaft market, striving for a 30 percent increase in output value.

Dabu town has been concentrating on improving its business environment and focusing on the urgent problems of local enterprises. It is now offering more support and tailored services to them.

The local government has also encouraged cooperation between enterprises and higher educational institutions, which can help solve the production bottlenecks through scientific research and talent resources. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
