Shandong museum highlights local cricket culture

Ningjin county in East China's Shandong province has a unique museum that showcases the county's rich cricket culture and history.
Situated in the county's cultural and art center, the Ningjin Cricket Museum features various exhibits related to crickets, including bronze reliefs, historical books, cricket jars, cricket specimens and a cricket fighting arena.
Ningjin county has a long tradition of breeding and training crickets for fighting, which is regarded as a form of entertainment and a way of expressing respect for nature. The county also holds regular cricket fighting competitions and festivals to promote cricket culture and attract tourists.
