Liu Mingfeng, the head of Lanyuan planting cooperative, said that this year's grapes have grown well because of the favorable weather conditions and the use of standardized planting technology.
Liu has been selling fruits for many years. In 2019, he was attracted by the market potential of Sunshine Rose grapes and decided to return to his hometown to start his own cooperative.
"With the guidance and support of the local government, we have developed advanced and practical grape planting technology that focuses on green and pollution-free production," Liu said.
The Sunshine Rose grapes are not only sweet and juicy, but also rich in vitamins and minerals, and are highly popular among consumers both at home and abroad.
The grapes have also brought benefits to the surrounding villagers as the industry has created numerous jobs that have helped elevate the incomes of locals. (Edited by Fan Yuanyuan)
