Shandong showcases local products, culture at Yellow River Fair

Zuoying Town in Juancheng county, Heze, East China's Shandong province, recently held a Yellow River Fair event to showcase and sell local products and promote rural development.
The fair attracted many visitors who got to sample agricultural products like apples, grapes, persimmons and duck eggs sourced from the fertile land along the river.
The fair also featured a traditional handicraft sales area, where customers could not only buy handicrafts, but also experience the charm of traditional culture. Li Zhangxia, the fourth-generation inheritor of woodblock Spring Festival paintings, a local intangible cultural heritage, introduced the history and technique of the art form and invited customers to try their hands at woodblock printing.
The fair showcased the achievements of rural vitalization in Juancheng county, which has been making efforts to develop its agriculture, tourism and culture along the Yellow River. (Edited by Fan Yuanyuan)
