Dutch teacher feels Double Ninth Festival vibes in Tai'an

In the run-up to the traditional Chongyang or Double Ninth Festival which falls on Oct 23 this year, Dutch English teacher Petrik from Shandong Agricultural University recently had a great day with the elderly in Dashan village – in the Daiyue district of Tai'an city, in East China's Shandong province.

He had fun dancing, paper cutting, pastry making and other activities with the elderly – as well as learning about some cultural customs of this traditional Chinese festival. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
