Shandong forges innovative partnerships to boost development
The Women's Federation of Laishan district – located in Yantai city in East China's Shandong province – recently participated in a signing ceremony at Shandong Jerei Digital Technology Co Ltd, together with Shandong Technology and Business University and the district's Women Entrepreneurs Association.
This event marked the inauguration of the Government-University-Enterprise Integration Base and the Women Entrepreneurs Growth Academy, among other initiatives.
The projects share the common goal of leveraging coordination between universities, local government and female entrepreneurs to facilitate educational cooperation, industry collaboration and the development of talent.
In terms of educational cooperation, the Women Entrepreneurs Growth Academy is providing invaluable one-on-one support to businesses through training and guidance in their planning and operations.
In return, the businesses offer training facilities and real-world experience opportunities for students.
When it comes to industry collaboration, the universities prioritize the commercialization of technological achievements and offer collaborative project opportunities to member companies of the district's Women Entrepreneurs Association.
By doing so, the goal is to establish teaching and practice bases at businesses – offering opportunities for students to intern and engage in MBA case studies and practical projects, to promote employment and entrepreneurship among young people.
Moving forwards, plans are for the district to further deepen its integration of education and industry, making it a new driving force for its high-quality economic development. (Edited by Zhou Yunlai)
