Artists from Linqing city – administered by Liaocheng city in East China's Shandong province – demonstrate how to paint exquisite magnolias and lilies on circular fans in this video.

As a traditional handicraft of China's Han ethnic group, the circular fan represents reunion, friendliness, and good luck. The frame and handle are usually made of bamboo, with the surface made of pure white silk.

Magnolias and lilies possess many beautiful meanings, such as purity, sincere friendship and gratitude. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
