Shandong embroider preserves, innovates traditional craft
Within a small village in Juye county – administered by Heze city, in East China's Shandong province – Jia Suling is demonstrating her powers of preserving traditional crafts and is embracing innovation.

Using only a needle and thread, Jia's hands deftly maneuver through lifelike patterns, breathing life into each piece of cloth. From embroidered tigers exuding power, to words that seem to leap off the fabric and delicate flowers bursting with color, Jia's creations are a true work of art.
Her talent has captured the attention of surrounding villages and towns and kids in the area are proudly wearing her stuff.
Not content with creating beautiful and durable accessories, Jia has ventured into the digital world to showcase her craft. With the help of her daughter, she's started livestreaming embroidery sessions and has created short videos of her products.
Utilizing the power of the internet, her exquisite embroidery has captivated viewers from all over the world, who have flocked to buy her creations. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
