One of the companies is Dong-E-E-Jiao Co Ltd, which is known for its production of traditional Chinese medicine made from donkey hide. It has now been acknowledged as a "Green Supply Chain Management Enterprise".
To achieve green development, the company implemented a range of measures, including installing a solar power generation system that fulfills 20 percent of the factory's electricity needs and recycling industrial wastewater for water landscape replenishment.
As a result, these efforts have led to a reduction of over 3,400 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year.
The other company is Dong'e Blue Sky Seven Color Building Materials Co Ltd, a leading producer of aluminum veneer and composite panels. It has been designated as a "Green Factory".
The company's products have received certifications for green building materials, including the China Green Building Materials Three-Star Certification and the Product Carbon Footprint EPD Certification.
Its environmentally friendly products have been utilized in significant projects, including for the Beijing Winter Olympics. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
