Tibet Philharmonic Orchestra to debut in BJ

Currently the Tibet Philharmonic Orchestra performed in Lhasa to prepare for the performance at National Grand Theater in Beijing on April 16 as the lineup of the 2nd "China's Spring Symphony".

Tibet Philharmonic Orchestra is to perform with 62 symphony cast performers and a decade of folk music players, among which, except for two players from Hui ethnic group and one of Han ethnic group, all the others are Tibetans.

According to Penba, conductor of the orchestra and a national level conductor, the performance in Beijing will kick off at 10 am, April 16 and a symphony evening gala will start at 7:30 pm the same day.

Dbyangscan, a principal violinist for the orchestra, told the reporter: "I feel confident about the performance as all of my colleagues are working hard."
