Epic Tacheng stages ethnic show

During the unveiling ceremony, ethnic garment show, Jiang Ge'er "rap" and traditional instrument performance were also staged, which has shown the diversified cultures of Hoboksar Mongol autonomous county.

The cultural event "Tacheng: the flower blooms" came to the birthplace of Jiang Ge'er culture. Jiang Ge'er is a Mongolian hero in the history, and an epic named after him "Jiang Ge'er" is considered as one of the three major epics in China. The epic is as an encyclopedia to study the Mongols' society and was listed within the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage.

Hoboksar Mongol autonomous county is a place possessed with many historical marks. It has the relics of human activities in the middle and late Palaeolithic Age, and the noted Mongolia Code of Wei-la-te was born here.
