Circus center stage
Models ham it up in Shanghai yesterday, wearing promotional T-shirts and masks of "Quidam" — a hit program to be staged by Cirque du Soleil. The Canadian company will build "Grand Chapiteau," its signature tent with a blue and yellow top, on a 2,000-square-meter site across from the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum in Pudong. It will stage 70 shows from June 28 until August 26. The tent will hold up to 2,500 people every night, with tickets costing from 150 yuan (US$19.65) to 2,000 yuan each. [Shanghai Daily]
