Painting contest raises environment awareness
Visitors join hands in front of a creation at the exhibition of a painting contest held by the UNESCO and Veolia company in Beijing, April 20, 2007. The competition, aimed to raise people's awareness of environment-protection, was participated by primary school students aged between eight and 12 around China, and the winner, along with winners from other 27 countries, would fly to Paris for the final appraisal.
