The annual non-governmental forum held alternately in Beijing and Tokyo is designed to improve bilateral relationship and deepen mutual understanding between China and Japan. It is one of the most significant platforms for communication between the two countries.

This year, the forum titled “Sino-Japanese Cooperation in Global Economic Crisis,” is for the first time held in neither of the capital cities of the two sides.

More than 100 representatives from various circles of both sides will attend the two days’ gathering. Issues on politics, economics, media, regions and security will be discussed in five penal forums respectively.
