Taiwan reports six more H1N1 cases

TAIPEI: Taiwan health authorities said Wednesday more than 20 medical students attending a conference in Taipei showed flu-like symptoms, with six of them testing positive to the A(H1N1) virus.

The students were attending the 30th Asian Medical Student's Conference 2009, an eight-day forum which started on Sunday and attracted more than 400 medical students.

Other students were showing no signs of infection so far.

Organizers of the conference had previously handed out face masks to the participants, and decided to continue the conference.
