Hong Kong confirms 190 new cases of A/H1N1 flu

HONG KONG: Hong Kong has confirmed 190 cases of A/H1N1 infection in the 24 hours up to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, the biggest number of confirmed cases for a single day since the city's health authorities began updating the figures.

A spokesman for the Department of Health said the new cases involved 83 males and 107 females, aged between five months and 81 years.

This brings the total patients number of the flu to 2,702, the spokesman said.
