Yuan weakens to 6.7180 against dollar

The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, weakened 30 pips to 6.7180 against the US dollar on Wednesday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.

Logistics sees improved performance

China's logistics demand maintained steady growth in the first three quarters of the year, supported by industrial upgrading and resilient high-end manufacturing, official data showed. The total value of national social logistics reached 280 trillion yuan ($41.7 trillion) in the January-September period, up 4.9 percent year-on-year, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
