Linyi Trade City International Sourcing Conference opens with thousands of international buyers

From mechanical equipment to daily necessities, a wide array of products is on display at the fourth Linyi Trade City International Sourcing Conference, which opened on Wednesday in Linyi, Shandong province.

The event has drawn more than 2,000 international buyers from over 110 countries and regions, along with more than 4,000 domestic distributors and buyers, who are gathering for business negotiations and matchmaking. The export commodities expo, a part of the conference, features 10 product exhibition areas and 1,200 booths.

To facilitate cross-border trade, the conference has set up a dedicated foreign trade service zone. Nine foreign policy-related government departments and 35 service agencies are present to provide services covering customs clearance, logistics, tax and finance, translation, and legal affairs.

Relying on its top-tier market clusters and logistics hub advantages, Linyi is deepening its international and digital transformation to build itself into a globally influential international commodity distribution center and international logistics hub.

The conference will run through Oct 30.
