InnoCare Pharma advances commercialization and medicine development
Chinese biotech company InnoCare made progress in commercial operations and medicine development in the first three quarters of 2026. Revenue rose 88.2 percent from a year earlier, with net profit also higher over the same period.
Medicine product sales grew 41.5 percent, driven by the label expansion of orelabrutinib, a BTK inhibitor, and the commercial launch of tafasitamab, a CD19-targeted antibody, and zurletrectinib, a TRK inhibitor. All three are approved medicines.
In the third quarter, InnoCare entered a research and licensing collaboration with Eli Lilly, a US pharmaceutical company, covering up to five innovative target programs. The agreement includes an upfront payment and near-term milestone payments of $100 million, with total potential value of up to $3.35 billion. The company also said ICP-B161, a bispecific antibody for inflammatory bowel disease, obtained clinical trial approval in October.
The company expects to remain profitable for the full year of 2026, with medicine sales growth exceeding 35 percent.
