On Monday, the lake opened its sluice for tidal water exchange. Large numbers of egrets hunted for fish and shrimp in the waters near the gate, forming a distinctive ecological landscape.
In recent years, Xiamen has pushed forward comprehensive management and ecological restoration projects for Yundang Lake. The city has gradually optimized the lake's aquatic environment and enriched local biodiversity.
