Geely to sell cars in Canada from 2027
Geely Auto has announced its entry into the Canadian market, with its first vehicles in the North American country scheduled to be launched in 2027.
With a Canadian team now in place, Geely Auto said on Friday that it is establishing local operations and developing a retail and service network for its commercial launch.
"Canada represents an important next step in Geely Auto's international growth," said Bryan Wu, managing director of Geely Auto Canada.
Geely enters Canada backed by global capabilities in vehicle engineering, safety, electrification, intelligent technology and advanced manufacturing.
Wu said Geely is coming to Canada with a long-term commitment. "We know that trust is earned over time, and we are committed to earning it here."
Geely Auto vehicles are currently on the road in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide, supported by an international engineering and design footprint spanning research and development, electrification, product development and next-generation technologies.
In 2025, Geely Auto sold more than 3.02 million vehicles globally, including nearly 1.69 million new energy vehicles.
